Tim Young, President

Tim brings a significant record of 15 years of accomplishment in media sales management and revenue generation specific to the Internet and television. Most recently, as a Regional Vice President (Western US) at Time Warner Cable, Tim ran a division comprising 250 media sellers generating more than $200 million dollars in revenue. Tim led the integration of Adelphia Media Services and Comcast Spotlight into Time Warner Cable's Southern California sales team. Earlier, as VP of Sales for America Online, Tim led the local and regional sales efforts covering all of the Western US territories. With a strong record of hiring, training, and leading sales teams to success, Tim is looking forward to doing the same for Rovion.

Marc Rubin, Chief Financial Officer

Rovion benefits from Marc's 20 years of financial and operational management within the software development, manufacturing, and retail industries. As CFO at Sequoia Software, a provider of XML-based portal solutions, he led the company's accounting, human resources, recruiting, MIS, facilities, and manufacturing teams through a period of company growth from 8 to 250 employees. He successfully guided Sequoia through three private financings, a successful IPO and acquisition by Citrix Systems in 2001. After Sequoia, Marc became CFO of Sourcefire, Inc., a manufacturer of Intrusion Management Systems. He also guided Sourcefire through explosive revenue growth from zero to $2 million quarterly, and infrastructure growth from 4 to 60 employees. Marc has frequently been asked to serve as a financial advisor to emerging technology companies in the Mid-Atlantic region and has also worked in finance and accounting management positions at Black & Decker and London Fog. Marc holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from University of Baltimore.

Alan Beard, Vice President, Strategic Marketing

Marketing strategist and copywriter, Alan brings 13 years of sales and marketing success to Rovion. After five years at Jupiter Research as Strategic Accounts Director, Alan co-founded Global Sales Partners, a consultancy focused on the strategic planning of sales launches, working with more than 100 clients to launch new start-ups and new products. Alan is also the founder of marketing strategy and copywriting firm, Wave Strategies, a practice focused on written persuasion. Alan earned a BA in Music and a Master's degree in Public Policy, both from Pepperdine University.
